Truth or Consequences

I’m not sure which one of us came up with the idea first, but who cares because the idea was an awesome one. It was a beautiful morning the sun was shinning brightly and the birds where singing. Of course there was school, but going to school was the last thing that anyone of us four girls wanted to do on such a beautiful morning.

Off we went for a drive in my new red sport utility convertible. Missing a few classes at school couldn’t hurt anybody, especially if we had a good excuse why we missed a couple of classes. As we drove down the highway the wind blew our hair back wildly. This was the life, no worries, well none, except the one whether or not our teacher was going to believe our excuse for being late.

After cruising around the city for about two hours and having a great time just hanging out, we decided that we better get to school. We arrived at school, just as the bell rang to end the second class of the morning. We hurriedly walked to our classroom, and as we got to the door our teacher Mrs. Franklin immediately asked, "Why are you four late?"

Without hesitation I replied, "We had a flat tire." Mrs. Franklin accepted the excuse, and we breathed a big sigh of relief.

Then Mrs. Franklin said, "Oh, I almost forgot, today the rest of the students had a quiz, which you four need to take. Would you kindly separate into the four corners of the room for the quiz?" When we had done this, she continued, "The first question is: which tire on your car was flat?"

This is a not so true story that happened to a friend of a friend of a friend of mine.
